Internet Access

Internet access is not required to play Free-Blocks.

Internet access is required to view or post your scores to the global high score list, if your score qualifies. You must have active internet access at the time you complete a level, in order for your device to post it to the global high score list. Not all scores get posted. Scores below the top 100 scores in any category are not posted, as they are not shown in the list. This figure may be adjusted in the future, if we update our high score display system.

The Game Soundtrack

The Free-Blocks soundtrack was created by AI under my direction. I spent weeks guiding and tuning the AI to create the soundtrack I envisioned. I have been asked to put the soundtrack up on music sites and may do so, but in the meantime, if you enjoy the soundtrack and want to simply listen, select "Soundtrack Mode" on the main menu. This lets you play the entire soundtrack in low power mode, with a variety of options including a night mode clock and a sleep timer.

Enjoy!

The Future

I have many ideas still to add, and I receive a steady stream of feedback from game fans. It takes considerable time to build a project like this into a playable game. The hardest parts are now completed, and the framework is in place for many more modifications and enhancements.

I am considering the idea of facilitating community content and mods.

For now, I will continue making the game better, more challenging, and simply fun to play.

The entire game was designed for multiple language support and, as of its release, is available in five languages. Future releases may add more language options.

Free-Blocks was also designed for multiple device platforms, so keep an eye out for it on many platforms. The PC (Keyboard & Mouse) version is already completed and headed to the market as well. Look for it soon on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and Amazon, with more to come.

Thanks

Thanks for playing Free-Blocks, and thank you to everyone who contributed to this project.
